There's nothing to much to fancy here, this Targus car charger comes with a cleanly design small box that contains all the details you'll need to know about this product. What's interesting here is Targus made an ordinary slim car charger compatible with apple devices by adding a lighting cable.

As usual, Targus will always treat you with high quality products and this car charger is no exception. It's made out of plastic with matte like texture that should be durable enough to withstand the daily abuse and use. The lightning cable they include was also durably built. It's flexible has nice strain reliefs and quite thick to give me enough confidence in it.

The design of this product is also a notch higher against their 2 port car charger. It features a low profile look with a slimmer and smaller body. That makes it more portable and easier to arrange together with your other things.

So far so good, it worked very well for some of the Apple devices I tried like the iPhone 6 and iPad 2 and I never had a problem charging them. Rated at 2.1 A it's fast enough to charge most phones too even some Android devices, Bluetooth earphones and etc. as long as you have an extra cable that will work for them. Going back to iDevices, the 2.1 A is good enough to charge an Apple tablet, it's still not as fast compared to other 2.4 A car chargers.
Anyway, that doesn't take the fact that you get a solid car charger here from a well trusted brand.

Verdict
This is one of the few devices where Targus will be considered a great buy as you get two good products for the price of one. Instead of getting the usual easy to break proprietary lightning cable from Apple, grab this Car Charger and you get a tougher looking cable for less.
