Last week, Elephone officially announced the Elephone W2 watch together with its complete specs and features. One of those features caught us off guard, the alleged and claimed not common super long battery life on a smartwatch.

Aside from the stylish traditional rounded watch look with leather strap and usual features normally found on a smartwatch like fitness tracking, Bluetooth and intelligent functions. The Elephone W2 has an unprecedented battery life that can last up to 3 months of normal usage and 3 years of standby time.

That's insane as normally battery life of smartwatches normally last for a couple of days to a week. In that sense, this watch can save you the hassle of charging your wearable regularly.
The reason behind that could be the old fashioned way of measuring time with dial that makes this device not a full smartwatch.
