At the CES Huawei unveiled a new handset that looks familiar here in the Philippines, the GX8. The Huawei GX8 is midrange smartphone that aesthetically similar to the G8 in photos.
The device is a 5.5 inch FHD metal clad phone that rocks the 64 Bit Snapdragon 615 octa core processor by Qualcomm, has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. What's interesting here is it boat the high quality13 MP camera of Huawei that has OIS and sapphire lens that can give you high quality shots even at challenging situations. It also has 3,000 mAh of battery, LTE and the trademark best in class fingerprint sensor at the back.

However, the Huawei GX8 that will be available in March in US has a price tag of USD 350 which is roughly around 16.5K Pesos here in the Philippines. Just add 1,500 Pesos more and you get the 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM regular G8. We're really lucky to be in the Asian region. :)
