The Huawei GR5 is a beautifully crafted handset that's made out of a four metal finishing process making diamond-polished and aircraft-aluminum body that's ergonomic to use as well.

It features a 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution for sharp looking images, the new 64 Bit Snapdragon 616 octa core chip that's probably clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable ROM via dedicated micro USB slot and 3,000 mAh of battery.

This phone also boast a 13 MP sensor at the back and 5 MP in front that we assume to be a great camera due to Huawei's reputation in that department.  The Huawei GR5 also LTE connectivity and Huawei's fingerprint sensor mastery located at the back.

So far this is the 3rd Snapdragon 616 that we were able to spot in the country together with the newly launched Oppo F1 and ZenFone 2 Laser 6.0. Overall, it appears to be a great buy on paper.

Update: We got a confirmation from Huawei Philippines that they don't have this product officially yet. So this listing of YouPoundit is a grey market product. Fortunately, they're offering one year 1 warranty with.

Internationally, this phone is priced at around USD 200, so I'm expecting that once its officially launched here, the price will be cheaper.

What do you think guys?
