2016 could be the starts of reign of USB Type C as the new standard among devices. That's why Sony came prepare for this huge change when they announced their latest CA1 series, a new line of USB Type C OTG storage.

The USB 3.1 Gen1 CA1 series offers the USB Type C and A connectors with a combined 130 MB/s transfer speed while reading. It will be offered in 16 / 32 / 64 GB variants so you can choose the best storage capacity that fits your budget.
The said device is also robust enough to fit in your pockets, moving from one place to another and survive most of the not so harsh hazards of everyday life.
With the use of this new type of technology, owners of phones / devices with USB Type C connectors can now easily transfer files from one device to another. Something that's not doable before.
The USB CA1 series will be available starting February 2016. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
