Great news guys! Asus just announced via ZenTalk that the 5000 mAh powered ZenFone Max will now scheduled to get its much awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update today, June 8, 2016.

According to the ZenTalk forum, the software update to Marshmallow OS will decrease the size of internal storage. After the update, your phone will now be lighter, smoother and will have less bloats that plagued the ZenFone 2 devices before.

With that update, we can expect the ZenFone Max to perform better, store more files and have longer battery life aside from the other benefits of having a Marshmallow powered device.
