Alcatel Flash 2 Gets The Much Awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update!
First announced early this year, TCL's Flash group kept their promise on updating the camera centric Alcatel Flash 2 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The update will update Android security patch level, add new quick shortcuts in status bar, turbo download, voice unlock screen, clear all feature in multitask screen, app management permission, improve Chrome experience, add quick search app bar, and improve battery life. The camera software is also improved as it has more photo sizes.
All you need to do before updating is ensure that you have at least 2 GB of space (update size is 932 MB), at least 50 percent battery life,
Note: Only v3.8 can be upgraded to Marshmallow, if not, update first to to v3.8. Also remove your micro SD card before updating to v1.7 Marshmallow.
