Based on my experience, Huawei's current EMUI 4.1 has to be one of the nicest non-stock Android skin on Android 6.0 Marshmallow today. It's fluid, intuitive, loaded with tons of features, and reliable as a whole.
|Near stock Android on EMUI 5?|
However, not everyone likes its "iOS looking" approach especially in the western region. Gladly, Huawei is listening. According to recent reports by Android Headlines, there are rumors and leaks Huawei will make the upcoming EMUI 5 have a more Vanilla stock Android approach.
It'll significantly change the look, be inspired by the colors of MIUI 8, have better customization, and be a significant step-up from EMUI 4.
If that's really the case, this news is truly an exciting one. I also expect Huawei to load that new EMUI 5 on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
What do you think guys?
