Kata Box 2 Announced, Touts Better Specs With Cheaper Price At 2499 Pesos Only!

Few hours ago, Kata Philippines just announced their latest device. Dubbed as the Kata Box 2, it is their 2nd gen Android powered TV box that boast several improvements to replace the ageing Kata Box.

Kata Box 2 announced, priced at 2,499 Pesos only!

The Kata Box 2 is now using a better 2.0 GHz AmLogic S905 quad core processor paired with Mali 450 GPU. It still has 1 GB of RAM, but now has bigger 16 GB of ROM. This device addressed the lack of Bluetooth connectivity before by putting the Bluetooth 4.0.

It's still compete with connectivity options such as WiFi, 2x USB port, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x RJ45, A/V port, and DC input.

Update: The official specs and price of Kata Box 2 was changed.

Compared to the SRP of Kata Box 1 at 3K, the upgraded Kata Box 2 will only retail for 2,499 Pesos. It'll be available on pre-order at any Kata outlets nationwide starting July 8, 2016.
