Acer Intros High Performance ES-12 And X117H DLP Projectors In The Philippines!

Few days back, Acer has announced their latest line of DLP ready projectors here in the Philippines. Namely, the ES-12 and X117H, they are top of the line projectors designed to solve the demand for digital displays that evolve throughout time.

Acer launches DLP projectors in PH

Those projectors uses the DLP technology that produces better quality images with the utilization of Digital Micromirror Device Chip or the DMD. With that, DLP powered projectors are high-performing and heavy-duty while being efficient at the same time.

“DLP Projector Technology is different because of its Digital Micromirror Device Chip that projects a thousand mirrors to compose a high-definition image. Other technology makes use of LCD panels to produce a colored image,” Faith Kuo of Acer Philippines explains. 

To add more details, DMD chips are said to be sealed which won't accumulate dust and can prevent color decay. In that sense, DLP projectors will require less maintenance and will last longer.

“The DMD Chip is highly durable and long-lasting which contributes to the DLP Projector’s Total Cost of Ownership,” Kuo emphasized.

Acer ES-12

The Acer ES-12 is a prime model of a DLP projector. It goes with a standard 800 x 600 resolution that can be maximized to 1920 x 1200 pixels. Then there's a 3000 lumens to display bright images, 1.07 billion colors, and contrast ratio of 20,000:1.

Acer X117H

On the other hand the X117H DLP projector is a brighter type of ES-12 with better vividness for your business.

“Two biggest highlight features of the X117H is its brightness and contrast ratio,” Kuo said. “It now has 3,600 brightness compared to the mainstream brightness of 3,200 Lumens and 20,000:1 contrast ratio compared to the mainstream contrast ratio,” she added.

Both projectors are compatible to 16:9 ratio with a minimum distance of one meter and up to 11.80 meters of quality image. It also has a 40-degree keystone correction to automatically adjust vertical distortions, eco-friendly, and eco-smart. 

With a 40-degree keystone correction that automatically adjusts vertical distortions, these projectors are convenient and flexible. These products are handy and lightweight with only 2.50 kg and can be installed on the ceiling. Stand-by power consumption can be reduced by 90% and by 70% when turned on. It means that Acer's DLP projectors are good for the environment and for your wallet.

“Most of the total projector market is coming from the Academe and SMB’s. The Academe comprises of about 54 % while SMB’s comprise of 21% (IDC),” Kuo said. 

Apart from those two projectors, Acer complete line-up of DLP projectors include the compact K138STi, P6500 with full HD quality, S1383WHne wtih dust protection, and V7500 with home theater grade quality. Today, the market share of Acer Philippines is at 32.5% as of first quarter of 2016.

“We have sustained a formidable market share due to our strong channel management and quality-based products,” Kuo shared. With these high figures, Kuo assured that Acer products, from the quality of its PCs and notebooks, “the same quality can be expected from our Projector Product Line.”

The Acer ES-12 is priced at 18,999 Pesos while the Acer X117H retails at 22,990 Pesos. Both of these products are available nationwide.
