In Taiwan, Sharp has announced their latest handset. Dubbed as the Aquos Z2, it is a stylish metal framed handset that's surprisingly competitive in both specs and price.

How and why? The Sharp Aquos Z2 is equipped with an upper-midrange like specs that consist of a 5.5 inch FHD screen with Gorilla Glass protection, 2.3 GHz Helio X20 deca core processor, Mali T880 GPU, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB expandable storage, and 3,000 mAh battery w/ (USB Type C) fast charging support.

The device is also packed with a 16 MP main camera w/ PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and dual tone LED flash. In front, this could be a nice selfie phone in the dark as it uses an 8 MP sensor w/ large f/1.8 aperture lens.

It's also complete with modern features such as LTE connectivity, rounded fingerprint scanner at the back, IR blaster, and stereo speakers.

To add more to the good news PhoneArena even stated that Sharp is looking to expand in the Southeast Asia, but it didn't include Philippines in that list yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
