Smart Partners With Rustans Supercenter, Load Products Now Available!

Smart together with Rustan’s Super Center Inc. (RSCI) has announced a significant partnership. Together, they announced that customers shopping at Rustan's, Shopwise, and Wellcome Supermarket can now conveniently buy Smart load products at the checkout counters all over the country.

The RSCI which is a member of Filipino company Rustan's Group who pioneered the hypermarket concept in the country has 4 brands. It includes: Rustan’s Supermarket, Rustan’s Marketplace, Shopwise, and Wellcome who has a combined 53 operational branches all over the Philippines.

Starting September 16, 2016, Smart subscribers can now buy load at the above-mentioned supermarkets with printed out receipt together with the other purchased items in the store.

Aside from that, Shopwise buyers can enjoy FREE 18 Pesos load when you buy 100 Pesos load from September 16 to October 31, 2016. That promo is in celebration to the 18th anniversary of Shopwise.

“In the past, supermarket shoppers could only purchase Smart load products from the customer service counters of hypermarkets and grocery stores. We have worked with our fulfillment partner Remitbox to fully integrate the loading process effortlessly in the check-out counters of our partner RSCI, to save our common customers the time and hassle of having to proceed to a completely separate counter for their Smart load needs,” said Kat Luna-Abelarde, FVP and Head of Wireless Consumer Operations for Smart. 

“The partnership provides Smart a new and much wider network to reach and serve our customers, and is just one of many in the pipeline,” added Abelarde. Smart’s business expansion is geared towards providing a more convenient and efficient way for their subscribers to load up, adding to the already wide array of available loading options for them.
