After showing us its prototype model together with other new phones last week, Kata has officially announced their latest and greatest handset today - the Selfie. As its name suggest, the Kata Selfie is a "selfie" centric handset paired with decent midrange specs and modern security features found on a smartphone.

For starters, the Kata selfie boast a solid metal unibody frame with chamfered edges and rounded corners. It has a 5.5 inch FHD screen w/ 2.5D curved glass on top and Gorilla Glass protection. Internally, there's a 1.3 GHz 64 Bit MT6753 octa core processor w/ Mali T720 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, and 3,000 mAh battery w/ 2A faster charging support.

Like what its name suggest, the Kata Selfie is equipped with a good 18 MP Sony flipping camera that can be used to take great selfies and good regular portraits. It also has beauty modes that can enhance your skin tone.

To complete the specs, the handset has WiFi, Bluetooth, fingerprint scanner behind, 700 MHz LTE, and dual SIM card slots. The phone has Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
