The Asus ZenFone Zoom is one of the company's best camera smartphone from the ZenFone 2 series and it's no secret that it should have a successor. That appears to be the case on the recent TENAA listing in China.

The ASUS_Z01HDA which could be the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom recently popped out at the popular Chinese certification agency. Based on the image, its a slim looking phone that resembles the Asus ZenFone 3 Max ZC553KL.

According to the listing, the smartphone sports a 5.5 inch FHD AMOLED screen, 2.0 GHz 64 Bit Snapdragon 625 octa core processor paired with Adreno 506 graphics card, either 2 GB / 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM, 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB expandable internal storage, and HUGE 4,850 mAh of battery capacity.

What makes it interesting is the device is equipped with a 16 MP dual camera setup w/ LED flash. As the name suggest, we suspect that the secondary camera will act like the secondary "telephoto / optical zoom" lens of the iPhone 7 Plus. In front, it also has a 13 MP selfie shooter w/ laser auto focus tech.

The phone also has LTE w/ VoLTE connectivity, runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, measures at 154.3 x 77 x 7.99 mm, and weighs at 170 grams.

It could also be revealed at the Asus Zennovation at the CES 2017. There's no word about the rest of the missing details for now.
