Rumors: Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) Might Launch Soon!

After releasing the the refreshed Galaxy A (2017) midrange series, Samsung is expected to come-up with the more budget centric Galaxy J7 (2017) line.

Is this the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017)?

According to recent reports, that scenario might be real. There's a recent certification by the WiFi alliance of a certain device with the model number of SM-J530FM/DS. It suggest that it could be the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017).

The only info that was revealed on that certification is the phone will run on Android 6.0 marshmallow OS instead of the newer Android 7.0 Nougat. But, who knows? Maybe Samsung an pull of with a surprise by adding the latest Android version on that certain device once its out.

Anyway, as a quick recap, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is loaded with a 5.2 inch HD Super AMOLED screen, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 3,100 mAh battery, and 13 MP / 5 MP f/1.9 cameras w/ LED flash.

This upcoming Galaxy J5 (2017) should top that in build, specs, and value for money factor. There are also rumors that more info about this handset might be revealed this upcoming MWC 2017.
