Sony Mobile has suddenly announced a new smartphone from the Xperia line, the L1, an entry-midrange handset loaded w/ Android 7.0 Nougat OS and USB Type C!

The Sony Xperia L1 still has the iconic boxy designed w/ 5.5 inch HD screen. Inside, it boast a 64 bit MT6737T quad core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. It's paired with Mali T720 graphics, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB eMMC expandable to 256 GB storage, and 2,620 mAh battery w/ Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology via USB Type C port.

This new Sony handset also has a 13 MP f/2.2 main camera w/ AF and LED flash, 5 MP f/2.2 24 mm front facing camera, WiFi, LTE, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS), Bluetooth 4.2 w/ aptX and A2DP, NFC, and Google Cast. It'll come with either single or dual nano SIM variants.
