Apple Launches iPad Pro 10.5 And 12.9

Apple has just refreshed their iPad Pro lineup. The new metal-clad iPad Pro line now consist of a slim and light 10.5 variant and a 12.9 inch powerhouse.

Both now has a refined unibody shells with redesigned Retina Displays. It uses Apple's new True Tone panel which features gamut, ultralow reflectivity, an impressive 600 nit peek brightness and HDR support. It also has a native 120 Hz refresh rate and  industry-leading 20ms latency when using the Apple Pencil.

The tablets runs with Apple's A10X Fusion chip with six CPU cores and 12 GPU cores. Apple claims that it has up to 30% in CPU and 40% in GPU performance over the previous generation. It also has up to 10 hours of battery life with fast charging and USB 3.0 data port.

Both also has the same main and selfie cameras found on the iPhone 7. There's an 12 MP f/1.8 main camera w/ OIS and a 7 MP front camera.

The new Apple iPad Pros will still ship with iOS 10, but with a planned iOS 11 update this Fall. iOS 11 now has drag and drop and multi-window apps.

Starting today the new iPad Pro 10.5 And 12.9 duo are already available for pre-order. Price starts at USD 649 for the 64 GB variant of 10.5 and USD 799 for the 12.9 edition.
