Huawei's subsidiary, HiSilicon is expected to unveil its newest chipset, the Kirin 970 octa core processor inside the upcoming Mate 10 phablet this October.

According to recent reports, the upgrade of the excellent Kirin 960 will be a beast. The specs includes an ARM Cortex A73 quad core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz paired with Cortex A53 quad core chip.

For the graphics, Mali G71 will be upgraded to Mali G72 MP8. It's a graphics card with 8 cores that should perform amazingly in rendering hardcore games other apps with heavy graphics.

The chipset will also have support for LP-DDR4 RAM, LTE Cat 12, and Bluetooth 4.2. Interestingly, it is not with Bluetooth 5.0 yet.

But, let's all wait and see until its official launch.

The Huawei Mate 10 will be unveiled on October 16 in Munich, Germany.
