Sony Shipped 3.4 Smartphones Globally For Q1 Of 2017
Sony's latest numbers

Sony has shipped more than 3.4 million smartphones coming from 3.1 million during the same period that the company reported last year.

Overall, Sony's revenues were up by 15%. Operating income is also 3 times higher compared with the same quarter last 2016.

Sony's mobile revenues were down due to change in product mix of smartphones, operating cost and R&D expenses. The operating income of the company shot up significantly to JPY 3.6 billion.

However, that's still some great news as it is showing up in sales.

In case you missed it, Sony has released the Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Xperia XZs, and Xperia XZ Premium flagship earlier this year.

The Japanese giant aims to ship 16.5 million total units this year.

Keep it up!
