Sony launches Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus in India

In India, Sony has made the Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus official, entry-midrange offerings packed w/ a compact 5.2-inch screen and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 chip. Both phones only differs in RAM and storage capacity.

Both the Xperia R1 only has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM while the Xperia R1 Plus offers bigger 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Both are expandable via microSD card slot up to 128 GB and has 2,600mAh battery w/ USB Type-C charging.

Both are also equipped w/ a 13MP main camera and w/ predictive AF and LED flash. In front, they have an 8MP shooter for selfies.

Completing the specs, these entry-midrange handsets runs w/ Android 7.1 Nougat OS w/ Android 8.0 Oreo update in the future.
