Behind, it highlights a 12MP f/2.2 sensor with PDAF focus and dual tone LED flash. It also comes with a pretty robust pro mode with adjustments for ISO, shutter speed up to 8 seconds, EV, focus, and white balance.

In front, it boasts a 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera with adjustable face beauty mode and screen flash.

Our first few shots with Huawei Y7 Prime proves that Huawei can also make phones with decent camera quality even on a budget. Of course, don't expect upper mid-range to flagship grade quality, but this is more than decent for the price.

It has speedy shutter speed, sharp details, and well saturated colors in most of our daylight shots. We are also surprised that it can focus closely on subjects with ease.

Its lowlight performance is also pretty good. There will be grain and dynamic range loss though. However, it is still better than most phones at this price point.

Fortunately, it is one of the few affordable phones with capable pro mode for long exposure photography.

There are just times where you'll get slightly under exposed shots or the shutter speed will be slow.

Again, for the price, quality is DECENT.
