Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go edition) to launch in March 2018?

HMD Global's Nokia brand could possibly launch their next budget-friendly smartphone in March of 2018, the optimized Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go edition).

In case you missed it, Android Oreo (Go edition) is a lightweight version of Android that comes with "Go" versions of popular Google apps like: Google Assistant, Maps, Gmail, YouTube Go, and etc. It's designed to run make software experience better even if the hardware is lesser.

In terms of specs, the Nokia 1 is expected to feature one of the most basic specs around. It could just have a 5-inch HD IPS screen, 1GB RAM, and 8GB expandable storage.

We won't also be surprised if this handset will only come with a 32-bit quad-core chip with no LTE connectivity.

But, still, we are hoping that Nokia will do their best to make this handset as appealing as possible.
