CES 2018: DJI announces a USD 99 (PHP 5,000) drone!
Meet DJI Tello

The DJI Tello is a mass market target drone that carries an Intel 14-core processor designed by a Chinese startup called Ryze Tech in partnership with DJI. Since launch it has been sold out in the DJI website.

It has new features never before seen in a DJI drone. It features mid-air flips, live streaming and a programmable airframe. Because of new tech from Intel, it is now safer and easier to fly indoors!

The Tello is small with measurements of 98 by 92.5 by 41mm and weighs 80 grams make this able to fit on your palm without being too heavy. It has the two tone look and shape as the Spark but at a noticeably smaller form factor.

It also has the same flight stabilization tech from the Spark and the Intel Movidius Myriad 2 VPU which means you can launch and control it from your palm with hand motions.

The only gripes we have is that the 5MP can only take 720p videos as opposed to the 12MP camera of the Spark that can capture FHD 1080p footage and the 13 minute maximum flight time.

It flies at a top speed of 8 miles per second so you won't be able to fly it outside when there is a huge gust of wind.

What we love is the programmable flight patterns which means anyone can set their own flight patterns.

We are loving this new device which effectively gives the masses a DJI drone for their own use!

What do you guys think?
