OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will get face unlock soon too!
Aside from the OnePlus 5, Carl Pei, CEO of OnePlus also announced that their face unlock feature is also coming to the older OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

According to Carl Pei, both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will soon get the beta version of their face unlock technology. However, there's no exact time table when will it arrive and when will it be an official update.
Originally, the first handset of OnePlus that has face unlock is the new OnePlus 5T. It's a phone unlocking solution that's way faster and more consistent than Apple's much hyped Face ID.
Unfortunately, this is all we know for now. But, it is nice to know that OnePlus is committed in bringing new features on their older devices.
