Huawei Nova 2i's AR Lens adds interactive backgrounds and face stickers to your selfies

Huawei is adding more fun features into the Nova 2i. They updated the camera app with the new AR lens selfie features that promises to make selfies more fun.

AR stands for Augmented Reality that uses visual tech to shift your "perception of reality". Huawei says that this new AR lens selfie feature will bring new and more creative ways of taking selfies. You can give your self interactive stickers or superimpose yourself in front of popular landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben.

The AR lens selfie feature can be utilized with all four of the Nova 2i's camera. Huawei boasted that the decision to include four cameras is to provide consumers the ability to capture beautiful color and the breathtaking "bokeh" effect that most people are looking for. The AR lens feature is just another tool to encourage creativity.

This feature can be attained by updating your Huawei Nova 2i to the latest version of the firmware. To do this, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings and look for the "System Update" feature.

2. Check for Updates then choose Quick Update.

3. After the updates are properly installed, you can go to the camera app, select the AR Lens mode, and you are set.

In case you missed it, the Huawei Nova 2i is now available at a more affordable price of PHP 13,990 until February 28, 2018.
