5 key advantages of Honor 8X over OPPO F9 and Vivo V11
Can 8X keep up?

But did you know that there's an upcoming smartphone with comparable features and specs for less compared with those two above-mentioned devices?

What is it? It is the Honor 8X!

The cool part? I personally think that it even has few advantages over the OPPO F9 and Vivo V11 despite the lower expected price tag.

In China, the Honor 8X has a starting price of just CNY 1,399 (PHP 10.9K).

Let's have a look!

Key advantages of Honor 8X over OPPO F9 and Vivo V11

1. Premium real metal and glass constructionHonor used real metal material for the frame and real 2.5D curved glass at the back/front of the 8X.

On the other hand, the design of the F9 and V11 are also nice. However, they are still made out of plastic. Yes, plastic is dependable, but it won't have the feel and texture of a high-end device.

2. Bigger display - All three phones have a 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio. But, the Honor 8X has the bigger 6.5-inch 2.5D IPS screen with FHD+ resolution compared with F9 and V11.

3. Larger battery capacity - The Honor 8X has the bigger 3,750mAh battery over the 3,500mAh and 3,400mAh of the F9 and V11. In our test, it was able to last for 13 hours of heavy usage on a single charge. The charging time of F9 and V11 are faster though.

The V11 has a 12MP f/1.8 + 5MP f/2.4 setup with Dual Pixel PDAF focus and dual-tone LED flash.

5. AI-assisted night mode with handheld long exposureMoreover, the Honor 8X has one killer feature that the F9 and V11 doesn't have, the AI-assisted night mode with up to 6 seconds handheld long exposure.

It can let you take lowlight photos with better details, exposure, and dynamic range compared with regular point and shoot snaps.
