Alcatel Idol 4 And 4S Now Official! Beautiful And Powerful Devices!

Few weeks back, the Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4S went on a full leak. This time at the MWC 2016, the above mentioned devices were officially announced, confirming what we saw about it, and they're beautiful interesting devices.

These are also two new phones to don change of branding. Coming from the "One Touch" line, they'll be known simply as Alcatel which is still a part of the TCL group.

Going to the devices, they'll include their signature reversible design on again. This time, it will go with three way reversibility, a phone that can operate in both vertical, horizontal and even when you turn it around the stereo the sound orientation remains the same.

It also appears that both the Idol 4 and 4s will deliver great audio performance as a result of a collaboration between JBL and Waves. They'll include two powerful 3.6 watt speakers, HiFi surround sound and audio optimization that can perform either automatically or manually.

Aside from those meaty specifications, Alcatel also introduced a new physical button called as the BoomKey. It's mapped to do new things with Android Marshmallow that includes "Boom my Camera" command to take photos from standby, "Boom my music" as an audio optimization, "Boom my game", "Boom my view" and "Boom my videos".

Alcatel also included a FREE Google Cardboard like headset that acts like an entry level VR device.
