In particular, Samsung has announced the Exynos 9 Series 9810 chipset, the latest flagship processor of the company packed w/ 3rd-generation custom CPU cores, upgraded GPU, and gigabit LTE modem w/ 6CA support.

The 6CA support of that chip is a first in the industry which is expected achieve speeds up to 1.2 Gbit/s.

The GPU paired w/ this processor could be the Mali-G72 graphics due to Samsung's long term partnership w/ ARM. The chip is built on 2nd generation 10nm process technology.

On the other hand, Samsung has also announced the ISOCELL Slim 2X7, a new generation sensor w/ whopping 24MP resolution. Samsung claims that its 0.9μm pixels image sensor size is the smallest pixel in the industry. The 0.9μm pixel size allows premium smartphones to offer high resolution cameras in a very slim design. It also has the Tetracell and remosaic technology to simulate bigger pixel performance.

Let's expect the Exynos 9810 to arrive on the Galaxy S9 next year. ISOCELL Slim 2X7 could be available on midrange and upper midrange phones soon as well.
