Meet Huawei Mate 9!

Built with a solid slab of 7.5 mm slim metal at 169 g, the Huawei Mate 9 is equipped with a 5.9 inch IPS screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution w/ 2.5D curved glass at 373 ppi. While the screen may not be as impressive as the other phones with QHD panels, Huawei ensured that the rest of its specs are upgraded.

Update: There's a Porsche Design Mate 9 w/ 5.5 inch QHD screen, 6 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage!

Under the hood, the Huawei Mate 9 boast the new and powerful and cool 2.4 GHz 64 Bit Kirin 960 octa core processor paired with ARM's Mali G71 MP8 GPU, i6 co-processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of expandable internal storage. Then it has a 4,000 mAh of large battery capacity with support for the new / safe 5A Super Charge technology with up to 400% faster charging time against normal smartphones.

Equipped with 2nd Gen Leica cameras for the most detailed and natural photos on a phone!

Moving to the main course, the Mate 9 highlights a pair of second gen Leica cameras. To be precise, there's a 20 MP f/2.2 monochrome and a 12 MP f/2.2 RGB sensors. They're packed with the new 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus with laser, phase detection, depth, and contrast focus.
There's optical image stabilization!

Huawei also figured out how to put OIS (optical image stabilization) inside that'll be great for its 4K video capability! In the event earlier, they also introduced the Hybrid Zoom feature that allows you to zoom up to 3x without significant loss of detail. Lastly, a dual tone LED flash is embedded to rescue shots in very dark conditions.

Quite interesting, Huawei claims the camera supports a new Hybrid Zoom feature, which should allow you to zoom without (significant) loss of quality. We'll have to wait and see how this works in real life, though. In front, there's an 8 MP snapper w/ f/1.9 apeture.

To complete the specs / features, the Huawei Mate 9 is 5 degrees cooler than he Galaxy S7, has a fingerprint scanner w/ gesture support behind, LTE connectivity, and dual SIM slots. This is also the first from Huawei with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the latest EMUI 5.0 skin.
