After several months of rumors and speculations, the Asus X550 goes official. It's one of the rare non ZenFone Asus phone we've seen in a long while that has a metal high end looking body, midrange worthy specs and if I'm correct, their first ever smartphone with fingerprint sensor.

On paper, based on photos and description, this is the most beautiful Asus device I've seen in a long while. I loved that metal clad frame that's said to be made out of aircraft grade aluminum and it's lattice grain skinned back cover that adds a better grip to the phone. It also comes with the popular "Rose Gold" color that's popularized by Huawei Mate S and Apple iPhone 6s series.
