On paper, the new Vivo V5 Plus edges the F1 Plus in nearly every category. It has a more premium build, better processor, larger battery life, and newer OS. The V5 Plus also implements an interesting type of dual front camera setups (20 MP + 8 MP) which is not common on smartphones yet.

However, the OPPO F1 Plus still has some advantages in aesthetics due to its slimmer 6.6 mm frame. It also has an expandable storage which is an essential if you love taking many photos using its large 16 MP front camera sensor. Lastly, I won't be surprised if the F1 Plus can still keep up in selfie game due to their good image post processing.
