Huawei Y5 2017: First Camera Samples
Huawei is known for making phones with great cameras. Having said that, the new budget-centric Huawei Y5 2017 could be one of them.

How? Aside from its capable specs for the price, Huawei has equipped the Y5 2017 with an 8 MP f/2.0 AF main camera and a 5 MP f/2.4 wide angle selfie camera.
The selfie cam is even has beautify mode and is equipped with softlight flash for decent looking selfies even in the dark.

So far, the main camera is one of the better shooters in this price range. It is wide in angle, colors are balanced, has decent details and acceptable dynamic range. It struggled in lowlight just like most budget camera phones.
The selfie cam is good performing in daylight. In lowlight, it won't produce acceptable photos unless you turn the softlight flash on. Gladly, it has that softlight flash for selfies in the dark. Decent so far!
