It confirmed that the Redmi Note 5 is a rebranded Redmi 5 Plus. It still goes with the 18:9 5.99-inch FHD+ panel, Snapdragon 625 chip, and the same overall specs with the Redmi 5 Plus.

But on the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 Pro looks like the real deal with Snapdragon 636, dual cameras, and 20MP snapper in front.
It has the same 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 panel and 4,000mAh battery of the Redmi Note 5. But, it'll come with an improved 12MP f/2.2 + 5MP f/2.0 dual cameras at the back and a 20MP Sony IMX376 w/ softlight LED flash in front.
