As expected, daylight shots has plenty of details. It has balanced color tones too. Point and shoot indoor and lowlight are impressive for a mid-ranger. It has wide dynamic range and good details in lowlight.
The selfie camera is up there with the competition. The portrait bokeh has cleaner edges than the Nova 2i. The face beauty mode could still over beautify your face though.
Overall, P20 lite's cameras are very promising so far! It could be the mid-range camera phone to beat.
