Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia XZ2 goes official in PH!

Right on schedule, Sony Philippines launched their two new Android phones in country, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia XZ2.

Both phones were first introduced last MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The Xperia XA2 Ultra is the company's 2018 upper mid-range offering while the Xperia XZ2 is the high-end looking device.

The Xperia XA2 Ultra comes with big and traditional 6-inch FHD screen. Sadly, it is still not using the new 18:9 or 19:9 screen aspect ratio for smaller screen bezels.

It is powered by 2.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 3,580mAh battery w/ Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charge 3.0, and 23MP f/2.0 back camera.

It also boasts the new dual selfie camera. It consist of a 16MP 1/2.6-inch Exmor RS sensor f/2.0 w/ OIS and an 8MP 1/4-inch Exmor R f/2.4 w/ 120-degree wide-angle mode.

It is also powered by the beastly 2.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 3,180 battery w/ Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charge 3.0, Qi Wireless Charging.

It also has a new 19MP f/2.0 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS primary shooter w/ Hybrid AF, SteadyShot,, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, Motion Eye, and dual tone LED flash.

However, it is only using a 5MP f/2.2 selfie-camera with 1/5-inch Exmor RS w/ 22 mm super wide-angle lens.
