It could mean one thing. ASUS could launch the ZenFone Max Pro M1 here in the Philippines very soon.
On paper, it could the company's best bet to compete with the newly launched Redmi Note 5, a mid-range phone very powerful specs for the price.
As a quick recap, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is equipped with a metal clad design, 5.99-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved screen, and the Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 509 GPU.
It also has 3GB or 4GB or 6GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB expandable storage via dedicated microSD card slot.
It will also come with the massive 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. According to ASUS, it can charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in just 2 hours and 42 minutes.
The phone will also load with either 16MP + 5MP dual cameras or 13MP + 5MP dual cameras. Either config will come with PDAF and LED flash.
For selfies, it could feature 8MP or 16MP on the front.
It also has dual speakers, Smart AMP, 4G LTE connectivity, and dual SIM slots.
Like what we reported recently, it will come with pure Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
