Shopee partners with Abbott and Mamacademy for Mom Entrepreneurs

In partnership with Abbott and Mamacademy, Shopee Philippines will conduct a special session for Mom Entrepreneurs.

A Mother's Day initiative by Shopee, Abbott, and Mamacademy

It's an initiative which aims to empower and encourage more FIlipino moms become successful entrepreneurs.

How? It aims to educate them on how to establish their own online businesses and provide them with tips on balance between career and family.

The event will be held on May 19 at Shopee's HQ in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 

Shopee and Mamacademy will also educate aspiring mom entrepreneurs on how to start and grow their businesses on Shopee. They will also share insights regarding consumers' online browsing and purchase behavior. 

On the other hand, Abbot will share tips on how mom entrepreneurs can find a balance between having a fulfilling career and keeping their family as a priority.

Mother’s Day is a very special event in the Philippines; a country where family traditionally holds high value and importance. Hence, we wanted to use this occasion as an opportunity to celebrate and empower moms in the Philippines, by providing them a platform to get together and learn more about how they can carve out a career in e-commerce, while balancing time spent with their families, said Terence Pang, Chief Operating Officer, Shopee.
