It's an initiative which aims to empower and encourage more FIlipino moms become successful entrepreneurs.
Mother’s Day is a very special event in the Philippines; a country where family traditionally holds high value and importance. Hence, we wanted to use this occasion as an opportunity to celebrate and empower moms in the Philippines, by providing them a platform to get together and learn more about how they can carve out a career in e-commerce, while balancing time spent with their families, said Terence Pang, Chief Operating Officer, Shopee.
