Few months back, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 5 Pro A.I. in China. It's the updated Redmi Note 5 Pro from India with better specs and A.I. capabilities.

Today, we learned that Xiaomi will bring the Redmi Note 5 Pro A.I. in the Philippines. But, they will rebrand it as the Redmi Note 5.

Just note that it is different from the Redmi Note 5 in India with slower Snapdragon 625 chip. In PH, the Redmi Note 5 in India is known as the Redmi 5 Plus.

To avoid confusion, let us just call it as the Redmi Note 5 Global Version.

The Redmi Note 5 that the Philippine market will get will come with a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 screen, Snapdragon 636 chip, Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, 12MP + 5MP dual cameras with Dual Pixel PDAF, 13MP A.I. selfie cam, fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, and dual SIM slots.

The Redmi Note 5 in PH will come with the Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box w/ MIUI 9.5 skin.

Xiaomi will officially reveal the Redmi Note 5 in the Philippines on Friday, May 11, 2018.
