Honor 9i 2018 with GPU Turbo update announced!

Together with the Honor Play, Honor also introduced the Honor 9i 2018 China. It's the update of the first Honor 9i in India also known as the Nova 2i in the Philippines.

Another GPU Turbo phone!

Basically, the specs of this handset reminds us of the Huawei P20 lite. The new Honor 9i 2018 is equipped with a glass like material at the back, 5.84-inch FHD+ notched 19:9 screen and Kirin 659 SoC w/ Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.

Better gaming experience?

Honor also promised that it will get the GPU Turbo graphics processing acceleration technology via OTA on July 30. This should make the new Honor 9i 2018 have a speedier and smoother gaming experience.

The phone also goes with 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB expandable storage, and 3,000mAh battery.

It also has a 13MP snapper at the back paired with a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, you'll find a 16MP snapper in front.

The phone boots with Android 8.0 Oreo OS w/ EMUI 8.0 skin.

The Honor 9i 2018 will be available in black, blue, green, and purple. The 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1399 (PHP 11.4K) while the 128GB version costs CNY 1,699 (PHP 14K).
