The OPPO F9 Pro will still come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ panel with waterdrop notch design and 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio.

The sales pitch by OPPO also claimed that the F9 Pro will be the first smartphone with gradient color body which changes its color based on the lighting.

We suspect that it could be similar to what Huawei did with the twilight and pink gold colors of the 6 month old P20 and P20 Pro.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the trusty 64-bit Helio P60 SoC by MediaTek with dual-core AI and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is still a pretty powerful mid-range chip, but it would have been better if OPPO will use something new. The P60 is the same processor found on the older F7.

It will have 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage, and 3,500mAh battery. One of the key selling point of this phone is it'll have the VOOC flash charging solution. VOOC flash charge can provide up to 2 hours talk time in just 5 minutes of charge.

The leaked sales pitch also stated that it has a 16MP + 2MP dual cameras with various filters, 25MP selfie shooter, and the new AI 2.1 technology with HDR and vivid color mode.

We are just unsure how OPPO will differentiate the F9 from the F9 Pro as most of their specs and design are identical.

Later, we could know more about the F9 Pro as the regular F9 will go official in the Philippines tonight.

Stay tuned for more info!
