The new 26 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4's back-illuminated sensor enables higher resolution while maintaining a high signal to noise ratio (better noise performance) and enables a lower native ISO of 160 from the X-T2's ISO 200.

Alongside the new sensor is the new X-Processor 4 coupled with the 425 Phase Detect Autofocus points and completely rewritten algorithm that offers superior Autofocus speed and accuracy even in video.

It now shoots up to 30 fps with no EVF blackout with a 1.25x crop and up to 20 fps without crop with the Electronic shutter and up to 11 fps with the mechanical shutter.

Aside from carrying the popular video film simulation Eterna from the X-H1, it now has the cutting edge monochrome adjustment that allows for the standard monochrome plus new cooler and warmer colors. It also has the Color Chrome effect that adds deeper gradation in highly saturated subjects.

The increased number of phase detection pixels  allows for 2 stops of better low light  sensitivity from the previous cameras' -1 EV to -3 EV and high-speed AF in lower lit conditions like candlelight room.

The other big feature is the the ability to record 4K at 60 frames per second in 10 bit HDMI output and internally into an SD card at up to 200 Mbps bitrate recording. New video formats supported are H.264/MPEG-4 AVC as well as H.265/HEVC.

It also comes with a new noise reduction process and new 4K interframe noise reduction.

The camera retains the flat F-Log profile with expansions with Hybrid Log Gamma, ITU-R BT.2100 international standards.

So it may look a lot like the X-T2 but the internals have been upgraded significantly. One great thing is that Fujifilm has now placed both the 3.5 mm headphone jack and 3.5 mm microphone jack on the body and did not split it between the body and the battery grip unlike the X-H1 and X-T2.

It will be available in the US on September 20 and will set you back USD 1,499 for the body only and USD 1,899 with the XF 18 to 55 f/2.8-4 OIS kit lens.

There are two colors, the classic black and a new silver color. It doesn't appear to be the graphite silver of previous models.

UPDATE: The X-T3 (body only) will cost PHP 86,990 and with the 18 to 55 will set you back PHP 109,990!
