Honor View 20, the first with In-Screen selfie camera and 48MP rear camera revealed!

At the Artlogy conference in Hong Kong, Honor revealed the View 20. They dubbed it as the first in the industry with an In-Screen selfie camera and 48MP rear camera.

The first with a hole in the screen

The Honor View 20 features a near bezel-less front with almost 100-percent of screen-to-body ratio. It uses the All View technology which allowed them to put a high-res selfie camera in the 4.5mm tiny hole at the top left corner of the screen.

It should be like the screen of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s and the Huawei Nova 4.

Sony IMX586

Apart from that, the Honor View 20 will also be the first to feature the the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with 0.8μm pixel size. It is the biggest megapixel size on any smartphone in the industry and the smallest micron pixel size. It uses a Quad Bayer color filter array with 2x2 pixels to allow the sensor to do high sensitivity shooting.

Under the hood, the Honor View 20 is a monster. It will run with Huawei's 7nm Kirin 980 SoC with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and the Dual-NPU to handle AI tasks with ease.

The rest of the Honor View 20 specs will be revealed on its official launch in China on December 26. It will go global next year on January 22.
