P30 is equipped with triple Leica cameras at the back with a new generation 40MP f/1.8 main + 16MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle + 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens.

On the other hand, P30 Pro is the is the first to feature a Leica quad rear camera setup. It will come with the new 40MP f/1.6 primary camera + 20MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens + 8MP f/3.4 telephoto lens + ToF camera.

The brand new camera system is also the first with RYYB sensor, Dual OIS, extreme ISO 409600, and more advanced AIS that can shoot handheld night and silky water shots.

The phones also comes an advanced type of HDR+ that can shoot against the light portrait shots.

P30 Pro also comes with a 5x periscope telephoto zoom, 10x hybrid lossless zoom, and up to 50x digital zoom! P30 has up to 30x digital zoom.

For selfies, the P30 phones are loaded with a 32MP selfie camera.

For videos, Huawei also claimed that the phones have improved low light and zoom performance. Huawei said that it uses both OIS and AIS to improve its stabilization.

Time-lapse now works while even on zoom mode. Huawei also introduced the Dual-View video that records both wide and close-up videos at the same time.


Great design and specs

P30 and P30 Pro arrives with gradient 3D glass design with 9 layer of nano optical color finish. The phones comes in black, pearl white, amber sunrise, breathing crystal, and color options.

P30 is the smaller phone with 6.1-inch OLED HDR screen while the P30 Pro packs a massive 6.47-inch Curved OLED screen with high contrast ratio and low power consumption. Both arrives with a tall 19:5:9 screen aspect ratios, tiny dewdrop notch, and FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution. Both are also equipped with a next generation In-Display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, both runs with the 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core chip with Dual NPU, Mali-G76 MP10 GPU, and GPU Turbo tech.

P30 is packed with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, expandable storage via NM card, and a 3,650mAh battery with USB-C 40W SuperCharge fast charging tech.

P30 Pro on the other hand packs bigger 8GB RAM, up to 512GB expandable storage, expandable storage via NM card, and 4,200mAh battery with USB-C 40W SuperCharge solution.

Both comes with a 32MP selfie camera and NFC as well. We are unsure of Huawei will also reveal a 5G variant yet. Kirin 980 SoC has the ultra-fast 4G LTE Cat 21 by default.

Huawei also announced the SuperCharge power bank with 40W SuperCharge that can even charge laptops and Nintendo Switch, Huawei FreeLace, FreeBuds Lite, and the new colors and sizes of Huawei Watch GT.

Huawei also announced the Gentle Monster Eyewear.

The new Huawei devices are now available in Europe.
