Vivo APEX 2019 5G concept phone with no ports arrives in the Philippines!

Showcased in January 2019, the Vivo APEX 2019 concept phone brings 5G and no port design to the Philippines.

Vivo's most ambitious phone yet!

Back in January 2019, Vivo announced its concept phone that turned a lot of heads because of its curved glass with no port design. It is one of the most beautiful phones we've ever seen. 

Rear dual cameras

The APEX 2019 uses pressure-sensitive power and volume buttons to make up for the lack of a physical, clickable buttons. For charging and data transfer, it uses a magnetic CPU contacts instead of any port with a hole in it.

In front is a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that multi-tasks as the vibrating speaker and earpiece and as the fingerprint scanner. Inside is a Snapdragon 855 with 5G support and a liquid-cooled plate. For memory, it has 12GB of RAM and internal storage options of 256GB and 512GB. 

Rear CPU contacts for data and power transfer

There is no front facing camera but it has a dual rear camera set up of a 12MP and 13MP shooter. It comes in black, white, and grey colorways.

The curved glass back!

The Vivo APEX 2019 is a concept phone and thus will not go on sale.

But like earlier concept phones from Vivo, the successful and favorite features may arrive in future commercially available phones.
