Just in! PH's bet team SIBOL has just won the very first eSports gold medal for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at the ongoing 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines.

Sibol wins #2019SEAGames for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang!

Sibol achieved the feat by beating powerhouse Indonesia with a thrilling score of 3-2. 

Even if Sibol failed to win, the Philippines' bet is already guaranteed a medal due to its strong showing in the earlier stages of the tournament.

But, the team never settled and they got the gold. It is a come-from-behind win to secure the very first eSports gold medal by the Philippines in SEA Games' history.

The members of team consists of Jeniel "Haze" Bata-Anon, Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel, Allan Sancio "Lusty" Castromayor, Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, Kenneth Jiane "Kenji" Villa, Carlito "Ribo" Jr., and Jason Rafael "Jay" Torculas.

Apart from Mobile Legends, the Philippines is also assured of at least a silver in StarCraft II and DOTA 2.
