To recall, we hailed the realme C3 as the best budget gaming phone yet. Fast-forward 3 months after, we still think that it is the device to beat in its class.

Watch: realme C3 is still the best under PHP 6K for us, here are the reasons why:

1. Build, design, display -  At PHP 5,990, very few can match the level of craftsmanship that the realme C3 has. It is a phone with sturdy textured plastic that won't easily get scratches. The design also looks neat and we like the fact that it has a big display for less.

2. Monster specs for the price - realme C3 highlight the 12nm Helio G70 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU that can handle a few heavy games with ease. It is also paired with ample 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, and 5,000mAh battery.

Helio G70 is the highest chip that you can get under PHP 6K.

The 5,000mAH battery of this phone can make last for more than a day on a single charge. For heavy gaming, it can last for around 12 hours on Competition Mode, 13 hours on Balanced Mode, and almost 15 hours on Low Power Mode.

3. Triple-cam on a budget - For cameras, it is one of the few with a triple-cam at this price point. It uses a 12MP f/1.8 main cam, 2MP f/2.4 secondary camera with 4cm macro mode, and a 2MP f/2.4 third camera for depth effect. From our experience, it takes decent images for a budget phone.
