Samsung has launched today a revamped version of the capable Galaxy M31—the Galaxy M31s.

Coming from the M31, the new M31s sports a similar box design in Mirage Blue bad Mirage Black gradient colorways. But, it has a bigger 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and Infinity-O center-aligned punch-hole to house the 32MP selfie camera with 4K recording and Slow-mo videos.

The company also noted that it has the Widevine L1 certification to allow the phone to play high-resolution content across different streaming platforms.

Under the hood, it retained the 2.3GHz 10nm Exynos 9611 octa-core processor with the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It also has up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and 6,000mAh battery capacity. Samsung upgraded its USB-C charging from 15W to 25W as well.

For cameras, the device sports a new 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor instead of the Samsung GW1 sensor. It is paired with a 12MP 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and a pair of 5MP shooters for macro and depth effects.

Samsung highlights that it has the Night Hyperlapse for long exposure-style video captures in Night Mode and Switch Camera While Recording to allow the users to switch between front and rear cameras during video recording.

The handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 10 OS with One UI 2.1 skin. Basically, the M31s has slightly upgraded overall specs versus the M31.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

6GB - INR 20,499 (around PHP 13.4K)
8GB - INR 22,499 (around PHP 14.7K)

The sale of the Galaxy M31s in India starts on August 6.
