Canon EOS R5, R6 priced in the Philippines, pre-orders begin August 14!

Canon has finally brought the much-awaited EOS R5 and R6 full-frame mirrorless cameras with IBIS to the Philippines. Pre-orders begin this August 14, 2020.

Announced globally in July, the new Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 have finally arrived in the Philippines. Both full-frame mirrorless cameras come with the new DIGIC X processor and In-body image stabilization.

First up is the EOS R6 that comes with a 21MP CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF that can shoot up to 20 fps continuous still images. It has an ISO range of 100-102,400 and a shutter speed range of 30 seconds to 1/8000 of a second. At the back is a fully articulating 3-inch 1.62M dot display while on the viewfinder is a 3.69M dot display with 100 percent coverage. The EOS R6 can shoot up to 4K/60fps 10-bit 4:2:2 with C-Log or HDR PQ internally with a small crop. It has two UHS-II SD card slots.

Next is the EOS R5 with a 45MP CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF. It has an ISO range of 100-512,000 and a shutter speed range of 30 seconds up to 1/8000 second. At the back is a fully articulating 3.2-inch 2.1M dot touch screen display while the viewfinder has a 5.76M dot display with 100 percent coverage. It has one CF card slot and one UHS-II SD card slot.

Both have USB Type-C 3.2 ports with USB charging, HDMI port, microphone port, headphone port, and both cameras can connect wireless through Bluetooth and WiFi.

Powering both cameras is the LP-E6NH Li-ion battery that is rated for 320 shots for the R5 and rated for 360 shots for the R6.
