Grab offers FREE deliveries on GrabFood in areas under MECQ, suspends GrabCar temporarily

After President Duterte announced that Metro Manila and other areas will be placed under MECQ starting at 12:01AM later tonight, Grab has announced the following promos.

FREE GrabFood delivery fees!

Grab Philippines announced that it will be temporarily suspending its GrabCar services beginning Aug 4, 12MN. 

But a little surprise will keep the Filipinos on areas under MECQ in staying at home as GrabFood delivery fees will be waived until August 16, 2020! Both services will be available daily from 6AM until 12MN depending on the merchants and available bikers.

Please note that PHP 550 minimum purchase is required to avail GrabFood's FREE delivery promo. 

GrabExpress, on the other hand, will be available 24/7. The GrabPay services will likewise stay operational for the Filipinos' convenient way of fulfilling their transactions at home.

You may use the following promo codes in your GrabFood transactions:

- UNLIFREEDEL (until August 5)

- ZERODELFEE (August 6 to 16)

Grab will continue to implement its GrabProtect program to ensure that our communities remain safe, especially during this period. In partnership with the National Taskforce Against COVID and the BCDA, Grab will continue to provide free tests for its driver and delivery partners to ensure the safety of everyone in the platform and our communities as a whole.

Grab is also looking into the prospect of having our driver-partners provide mobility solutions to our hospital partners as a dedicated shuttle fleet for their medical frontliners. Meanwhile, for its driver-partners with existing loans, Grab is working with its institutional partners to extend payment holidays on their respective loans. Grab will also create donation streams for our communities who are impacted by the suspension of public transportation.
