OneUI 2.5 arrives for the following devices!

Thru its official Mobile Pressroom Page, Samsung has revealed the new features of OneUI 2.5 and the list of devices that will receive the latest version of Samsung's Android skin.

Improvements to the camera include Pro Video Mode with the new ability to control the device's microphone direction and to control external microphones. Devices that previously did not have the feature will also get 8K/24fps video recording and 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio video recording.

Samsung Notes now will synchronize notes with audio recording, will now support importing and editing PDF files, will now auto-save and sync between Galaxy devices, and will now be able to add Handwritten text to typed documents.

Wireless Dex via Miracast and multi-finger gestures between applications will now also arrive in select Galaxy devices.

Lastly, these new devices will be able to share WiFi passwords with nearby Galaxy devices in the contact list along with the ability to pre-set time and location for meetings and tasks.

There are a lot more features that were not mentioned and not all may be available on the devices on the list.

What is interesting to note as well is that the Tab S6 series will not get the update yet given that the Tab S7 was just released. We hope that Samsung will expand its support to mid-range and entry-level devices.
